Well established and highly profitable CPA firm located close to Encino, in the San Fernando Valley suburb of Los Angeles, CA. is searching for a direct entry Tax Partner. The current owner is looking to sell the practice and retire. The firm has a gross revenue of approximately $410K annually, and the seller is willing to stay on as an employee / consultant for several months or so if requested. The financial opportunity is incredible for a local Tax Manager CPA looking to move into a Partnership, or an out of town CPA open to relocating and establishing himself in this area. Practice development / sales expertise is NOT required as this firm has a large built in, growing book of business, ready to be taken over. The firm will pay for both interview and relocation expenses as part of the package. Candidates need to buy in to the Partnership with either cash or an SBA (Small Business Administration) or similar loan with anticipated revenue potential of $150K+ annually. after servicing the loan.
Well established accounting firm in the San Fernando Valley that is doing $410k in revenues with about 45% margins. Only 15 client interviews annually and the rest, mail, email or fax paperwork. Staff of 2 does most of the work. 375 clients and 320 are 1040's.

The proposed sale herein is for 100% of the practice.
Seller is willing to guarantee the gross revenue to a qualified buyer for the first year of possession, but in
no event will the adjustment exceed 20% of the selling price.
Seller will be available to aid in the transition for a period of 30 days (longer if required).
Seller will be available to work part-time for Buyer during the first tax season, if desired.
Seller works 30 Hours/ Week. All tax returns are processed by staff. Only 5-15 interviews are face-toface,
remaining are emailed, mailed in or faxed.
Seller works approximately 1,560 hours/year.
Seller offers a covenant not to compete of 25 miles and 5 years as to opening a new office and
throughout the United States, as to clients sold.
Seller will discount for all cash or nearly all cash (make offer).

Practice is very profitable with a net of 50%, due to good fees and low expenses (seller does zero
client's tax returns - staff does it all!)

Lease expires on 9/30/14 and practice may be relocated to buyer's premises after expiration of lease.
Practice can be located in any USA location. Seller will carry a note, but only to a California buyer.
Lease is very reasonable with rent of only $3,000 per month.

The practice is extremely efficient due to computers / programs / staff.
Most all client data is faxed, emailed or sent by US Post Office. VERY FEW face-to-face interviews, less

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
