Insurance Services Representative

Insurance Policy Services Associate to become part of our Policy Services team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable to change, and have excellent administrative skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Processes new and renewal applications within set parameters for underwriting review.
Enters and maintains correct client and policy data in computer system and electronic file system.
Compares systems data entered against documents to ensure accuracy and completion of highly detailed information.
Creates insurance policies and client invoices and makes updates and changes to documents and records as needed.
Resolves document inconsistencies, makes changes or notes to records and documents, and retrieves missing information. .
Organizes and maintains electronic and physical files.
Tracks and follows up on tasks forwarded to other staff or clients to ensure timely completion.
SKILLS &
Qualifications:
Superior customer service skills, pleasant demeanor, and team-oriented approach are necessary.
Candidate must have great attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies and variances in wording, grammar, spelling and numbers.
Potential employees must be able to stay organized, be thorough and have excellent follow-through skills.
Ability to be flexible, handle competing demands, use time efficiently and prioritize appropriately is required.
Good judgment and problem-solving abilities are needed to successfully fulfill the duties of this position.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and ability to learn new software.
The ability to type at least 45 wpm.
A minimum of 2-3 years general office administrative experience; insurance experience is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
