The Canyon at Encino is seeking a dynamic and talented Administrative Coordinator

The Canyon at Encino is a center for recovery and healing. The Administrative Coordinator provides overall administrative support to the Director of Outpatient services for all outpatient activities and functions. ?

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Works collaboratively with Admission Center staff and serves as first point of contact for Admission Center referrals.

  • Responsible to follow-up with potential referrals providing information on program services and assisting them in determining program appropriateness.

  • Obtains and properly documents all insurance benefit information and initial financial information from patients.

  • Coordinates with the Clinical Team and oversees the intake and admission function. Creates intake files.?Files intake-related documents.?

  • Ability to consistently demonstrate through conduct and communications the stability required to effectively assist patients and their family members through the FRN Model of Treatment.

  • Integrates Patient Centered Care into all interactions with patients and their families.

  • Responsible for the accurate collection of co-pays, deductibles and all other out of pocket cash collections (i.e. full self-pay payment plans), at the time of admission.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.?

  • Minimum 3-5 years? experience in mental health and/or substance abuse field preferred

  • Minimum 3 years? experience in an administrative position supporting multiple staff.

  • Combined Experience of Education and Experience considered.

  • Experience with medical billing and coding strongly?preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
