Revenue Manager - (ER11375)

OLS Hotels & Resorts is in search of a Revenue Manager who will be based out of our Corporate Office in Encino, California, but may later be assigned to oversee one or more properties in our portfolio.
BASIC PURPOSE: The Revenue Manager will be managing the daily revenue strategies in conjunction with hotel GM & Corporate/Regional Directors of Revenue Management. This position will be responsible for maximizing overall revenue for rooms and food and beverage through the implementation of effective pricing, yielding and distribution strategies.
ORGANIZATIONAL SCOPE:
Responsible for monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability.
Out-perform direct competitors by winning market share with rational and competitive pricing, distribution strategy backed by targeted marketing
Display leadership qualities that mentor, develop, and guide hotel team members such as reservations agents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop, implement, monitor and control room sales strategies.
2. Conduct weekly RevMax meetings and document strategies to ensure the proper mix of business.
3. Review and control rates and inventory across all distribution channels including OTAs.
4. Manage the input of data and report generation; run and analyze daily pick up, and implement strategy adjustments.
5. Prepare, review and analyze competitive pricing and deploy inventory restrictions and pricing strategies designed to maximize revenue.
6. Create and maintain a 365 day rolling demand calendar including local events, holidays, citywide calendars and self-contained demand event conferences.
7. Consult with group sales team on rate/inventory suitable for potential group business and make team decisions in timely manners.
8. Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, share commentary of variances, budget and year over year comparisons to reasonable accuracy.
9. Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution including parity and campaign management.
10. Complete and analyze STR data, weekly and monthly reports reviewing the strategies with the end results.
11. Supervise and support reservations activity and support.
12. Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
13. Regularly check the input and the quality of data.
14. Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Experience:
3 years of experience in any of the following departments: Front Office, Reservation, Revenue Management or other analytical areas.
College degree or equivalent experience
Skills and Abilities:
Analytical and technical skills required, as well as a working knowledge of reservations, front office, sales, and Excel/MS Word.
Strong understanding of all market segments and global distribution channels;
Thorough knowledge of sales and revenue practices and procedures;
Solid business analytical skills
Ability to independently analyze and determine course of action based on set guidelines and available data
Strong management and leadership skills; very good knowledge of hotel computerized systems
Strong track record or knowledge of yield and revenue management
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Team player who operates with a sense of urgency and discipline.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
