Mgr - Finance, PULP RIOT

POSITION SUMMARY: Pulp Riot is a hair color company that has taken the beauty industry by storm.  After a massively successful launch, we're poised to scale quickly upward toward being a $100 million dollar company.  We're looking for an amazing Manager/Director of Finance to help us get there. This is a role which will require a fast and flexible individual who will own full responsibility for budget, trend, 3 Year Plan and actual reporting of brand profit and loss results for Pulp Riot US.  Support management team and provide financial analysis and advice in order to influence decision making and enable business growth.  Create/updatebudget and trend documentation for presentations to senior management.  Develop shipment/sell-through/ return unit and P&L scenarios for new/ discontinued/ promotional products.  Primary finance contact for Pulp Riot to PPD senior management. Ensure compliance of all divisional financial procedures as they relate to brand information/activity. Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as liaison to forecasting to develop E10/E11 and brands by month sales projections Primary contact with brand personnel (all levels); primary contact for budget matters; coordinate approval/communication of reallocation of brand funds Liaison with project development/manufacturing on all brand product cost information Work with Sales/Education/Marketing for recording/ classification of brand activity Liaison with manufacturing relative to production plan and financial unit reconciliation Manage Pulp Riot education, sales and education budgets in conjunction with each team REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field required CPA or MBA with concentration in finance or accounting preferred 5+ years' experience working in related field  Must have expert-level computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills required with ability to interact across all levels of management Familiarity with Consumer Goods Industry a plus, especially with professional/salon products Expert-level financialreporting experience Experience with SAP & Hyperion or similar systems highly desirable Prior experience managing staff preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills required with ability to interact across all levels of management We're looking for a rock star.  You must have a high level of attention to detail and never settle for inferior results.  You should have a sense of urgency and understand that you must continually push projects forward every day to meet deadlines.  Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills are a must.  Design skills are a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
